This initiative is building on government policy making directive that, all policies should be initiated through information which is well researched. In her remarks the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Service, Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire (Mrs), thanked Makerere University for having invited her Ministry along side others to bet for research from their grant which was received this financial year. The Ministry presented a list of areas for research amongst which included productivity of Public Service and one related to pay enhancement. In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Makerere University, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe thanks PS for choice Makerere University and he promised full collaboration.
