The Ministry on the 14th July, 2020 tested all its staff for COVID-19 Virus at Wandegeya Office Headquarters. A team of Medical Officers from Ministry of Health, tested staff for two days .After the mandatory date of sample collection on the 14 July, 2020 results were returned with all staff negative.
This has energized the Ministry Staff to continue observe the COVID-19 Standard Operative Procedures (SOPs) in order to keep themselves safe during this period of the pandemic. About 195 Staff were tested. Although, one staff had been declared positive of COVID-19 virus it was later clarified and found after 14 days of quarantine as negative. This news was received by the Ministry family with a lot of happiness and encouragement.
