lynbwiza Staff asked 3 years agoThe transfer of archives from MDAs/LGs to NRCA involves:
- Appraisal of semi-current records to determine their values and identification of the archives.
- Archives are then listed in the Records Centre Transfer Form.
- The Responsible Officer writes to the Ministry of Public Service requesting for transfer of the archives to the National Records Centre and attaches the list of archives.
- The Ministry of Public Service grants authority and picks the archives from the MDA/LG.
- The archives are released by the MDA/LG officially and the receipt is acknowledged by the Ministry of Public Service.
