lynbwiza Staff asked 3 years agoThe Ministry of Public Service is in charge of public records and archives. The responsibility is fulfilled through the Department of Records and Information Management. The Department is mandated to develop and promote systems which ensure that Government institutions apply good practices in managing public records in all media and formats and preserve the documented heritage (Archives) for Uganda’s posterity.
