Can employee a Bank, SACCO or Microfinance institution or Insurance Company get a deduction on the IPPS for employee loans, contributions or insurance premiums?

No. Only Statutory deductions have deduction codes on the IPPS. Non-statutory deductions including loan recovery, SACCO contributions or insurance premiums effected through either Bank Standing Orders or the Single Deduction Code managed by the Umbrella of Uganda Consumer Lenders Association/Uganda Bankers’ Association (UCLA/UBA).
