BID NOTICE OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

  1. The Ministry of Public Service has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of the following;

Lot - (a)  Framework Contracts ;

  1. STATIONERY  AND  ASSORTED  SMALL OFFICE  EQUIPMENTS
  2. ASSORTED TONERS
  3. ASSORTED TYRES/TUBES AND BATTERIES
  4. ASSORTED PRINTED  MATERIALS
  5. AIR TICKETS
  6. MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS
  7. COURIER SERVICES
  • The Ministry of Public Service invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above ;
  • Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and are open to all bidders.
  • Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect bidding from the Procuring and Disposing Unit and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below 7(d) during working hours (8AM-5PM).
  • The Bidding Documents in ENGLISH may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below 7(d).
  • Bids must be delivered to the address at address below at 8(c) at or before 12:00 Noon 26/09/2016.
  • All bids must be accompanied a bid securing declaration which must be valid until 31/11/2016.
  • Late bids shallbe rejected. Bids will be opened in presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (d) at 12:00 Noon, 26/09/2016

Ministry of Public Service is in the process of pre-qualifying competent firms/companies and individuals who will be called upon from time to time, to bid  for the supply/provision of Supplies, Works and Services during the financial years 2016/17-2017/18-2018/19-.

CATEGORY C. WORKS

  1. Minor Engineering Works: Renovations, repairs, fitting and maintenance of Civil/ Electrical works.

 

The pre-qualification will be conducted in accordance with the procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No.1 & Regulations No. 70 of 2003 of the Government of Uganda.

 

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Public Service, Procurement and Disposal Unit and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the address given below from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during official working days.

 

A complete set of framework work contract and pre-qualification documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written request to the address below, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugandashillings 50,000/= (Fifty thousand only) for each Lot. The method of payment will be direct payment to URA Account for Non Tax Revenue.

 

Each Applicant is required to submit a complete set of framework and pre-qualification documents for each lot applied.

 

The Applicant shall submit Four (4) copies including original in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Application to be Pre-qualified for the Supply of /Provision of……………… (Indicate category, lot and lot No. applied for) followed by MOPS/SUPLS/SRVCS/WRKS/---------------- ” to the address below before 12:00 Noon on 26th /09/2016

The opening of the bids shall be at 12:00 Noon on the 26/09/2016 at the address below in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend. 

There shall not be a pre-bid meeting/ site visit.
